	Operational Acceptance Testing For planning and execution of operational acceptance testing (OAT) we work closely with the client's production support teams as well as with any future operational support capability that they are building. Operational testing takes place in the final acceptance stage of the project. It is typically performed in a simulated real-life operational environment by operators and/or administrators focusing on operational aspects, e.g. backup and restore, recoverability, maintenance, resource-behaviour, installability, system alert management, scheduling, BAU operational procedures and technical compliance. OAT includes formal tests to satisfy the IT operations department that the developed system can be operated correctly in the production environment.
