Most small/medium-sized businesses and other organisations have invested relatively significant sums in their IT systems. In many cases, these systems are critical to the continued successful and smooth operation of these organisations.

Unfortunately, lack of awareness and/or budgetary constraints often mean that many areas of potential risk are either inadvertently overlooked or deliberately ignored. Our small company Risk Review Service is designed to identify and help you plan to reduce these risks. We focus on the following areas as part of the base service:

• Security (antivirus & antispam measures, software versions, firewalls, ADSL/DSL routers, wireless links, dial-up links, logon and password policies, physical security and access to systems)
• Performance & Capacity (processor, disk, memory, bandwidth and data considerations)
• Disaster Recovery & Contingency Planning (backup procedures, data integrity measures, offsite data storage, recovery planning)
• Systems Operations (routine operations, system administration, support & maintenance contracts)

Our service is in two stages: (1) risk identification/assessment and (2) risk removal.

At the end of stage (1) we issue a Risk Assessment Report based on our established Risk Assessment Methodology. This report highlights the key risks, making recommendations and prioritising the removal of these risks.

You can then decide what role (if any) you want Third Eye Services to have in stage (2). The overall cost of the Risk Review Service will depend upon the size of your IT systems installation and how much of the remedial follow-on work you want us to complete on your behalf.
